What would I really say about myself? The things I am aware of is that I am sarcastic, intelligent, love a wonderful smile and laugh, a great sense of humor, have been told my eyes are what draw people to me, I have been through much in life and come out on top such as health issues.
I have a permanent ileostomy, which I had to get so that I would not get cancer, so want to put that out there as I know it will filter out those that may have issues with that fact.
At this point I am getting back into life after two years of down time due to kidney issues which I have gotten through with the strength of God, my family, and the few friends I have.
I am not heavily religious as I do not attend church, but I do believe in God. My life is one of straddling the light and dark, defined in that grey space between happiness and being down.
I am content in life, and am valiant enough to know I will succeed with anything I put my mind to.

I listen to all forms of music as I have roughly 15,000 songs on one of my hard drives, and sometimes just love putting my player on shuffle and letting it go. I enjoy all genre of movies, and have started my collection of them on dvd, and probably have around four or five hundred by now.

I have lived in 7 states to date and New York City is where I hail from. But I have lived in NY, FL, AZ, VA, IA, CA, and TX.

Also looking for a walking partner also, as I do push myself to build my stamina and strength again via walking, but slack sometimes in that area.

I also enjoy giving foot massages, but then I do have an admiration for the feet of women that take care of them. I mean I know one gets pedicures for themselves, but I imagine they get them because they enjoy others enjoying them also :


I will have issues with people that sum up any one's concerns as unnecessary drama. If one brings up such things in an intellectual manner, and is not yelling or shouting them, but merely wish to discuss it, and you as someone I am interested in just basically puts your hand up and say drama, then we are not going to get along. I enjoy conversations, I am expressive of my thoughts and feelings. I will shower you with compliments, I will shower you with encouragements, I will try to remind you of things you should do for yourself like pick up medication, take care of your health, drink more water, things of this sort, but it also means that if I have something on my mind, then I will discuss that also as it goes both ways.

I believe in differences, but I do not believe in disrespect.

Other then the above I am a rather laid back person, who is looking to find someone to see what the city and life is all about....

I challenge someone to show me that women can be different then the ones I have run across on here previously, because I am not your typical male, as I am not a pimp, not a womanizer, not a gangster, not a player, but simply a guy tired of being alone in this life.I mean after all, are all women on this site and in the world the same????

I am one that enjoys living in a world of visual, aural, mental, and physical stimulation. I enjoy a good sense of humor, sarcasm, wit, charm and intelligence.

I guess I am on this site to give it a chance, in hopes that I shall make some good friends, and if something more comes out of it then kewl, as I am tired of being alone in this world.....


I rather simply be told the truth rather then left hanging......

I would say a first date would be mainly to get to know the person I am with, their mentality, personality, what is on their mind, what they enjoy in life, what they have experienced in life, to see if we are comfortable with each other, to share aspects of our lives and see if things gel well. The first date would be simply a restaurant where we can talk, or somewhere like a park where we can chat, a movie is not a good first date, as you cannot talk in a movie, that comes later.
