Welcome, to the story of my life. I hope you can appreciate and respect how much I am opening up about myself to a total stranger and take kindly the things I say about myself. It is important to note that I am no ordinary man, I think differently that most guys, and I act differently that most guys, so, if you are looking for the same crappy relationships you've had in the past, this is not the profile for you. I have had a couple relationships through PoF so far and I like the opportunities that it brings for people. I am the most truthful person I know, I value the truth to an extent that, occasionally, gets me in trouble, so if the truth is a scary thing to you, go ahead and click that little x. I am geeky and very intelligent but that wouldn't stop me from hiking the grouse grind, or taking off my shirt and jumping into a sports game. I am always open to new things, but if nothing interesting is happening, I play video games, so if you don't at least know what Mario Kart is feel free to click your browser's back button. Smoking is a 100% No-No. That's enough of the disclaimers I think.

I am currently enrolled in the Hospitality Management Degree program at VCC, I'm in my fourth year and I'm loving it, hoping to one day be the GM of a nice hotel downtown. I've been cooking for the last 4 years and I really enjoy it, but I'm looking to move into the service side, probably in a hotel. Currently I work at Earls as a Grill Cook/Closing Coach. I live Downtown in the West End, just off Burrard. Got myself a 19th floor bachelor suite with a great view from the balcony. You wouldn't know it from my profile pictures but I had long hair until a few weeks ago. I raised some money and cut it all off to donate to cancer. I usually spend my time listening to music, playing games, reading or biking the seawall, but I would drop them in an instant if someone wanted to go hang out, they just fill the time when I'm not doing something else. When I get on the dance floor I'm something totally out there, it is a topic of much debate whether its good or bad, usually leaning towards good though. I have a black belt. My family all gets along really well, all the siblings, and the parents on both sides of the divorce. I have one brother, two step brothers and and "adopted" brother. Dad & step mom, mom and step dad.

So, what exactly am I looking for you ask? Well, I know I will probably never find anyone really like me, so that is out of the question, in fact it is quite possible I am looking for someone not like me at all. I guess the most important thing is that you are accepting of who people are, willing to accept me for the weird person that I am, and willing to respect others as well. All interactions are based on the ability to communicate, so if you can't do that it is unlikely you will make it with me, or anyone else for that matter. I don't necessarily like change, but I like trying new things, and I have a variety of things I do, so maybe you only do one or two things, but you have to be willing to try out the things I do too. I am very logical in the way I think, and emotions are a great thing, but if you can't put them aside and see how things really are, you aren't going to understand me. You should enjoy physical contact, Hugs, Cuddling, Holding Hands, on a regular basis. It's important that you laugh, and show other such emotions. I'm very accepting of people and you could be short or tall, and anywhere from thin, to chubby, but no matter what you look like, you must have self respect. I really don't like it when girls wear make-up, personally, I feel like it is horrible that someone would feel like they have to hide themselves like that. You are beautiful just the way you are. All that cliche stuff would be good too, like Sense of Humour, Kindness, Friendly, Intelligent, you know what I'm talking about.

Well I'm really easy going so a lot of it would depend on what you like, but I would like to start with picking up a coffee(Hot Chocolate for Me) and either sitting down somewhere and talking, or going for a walk through Stanley Park, or around the seawall. Then dinner would take place, I would entertain the idea of something different like the Thai House or Sushi, but some people would prefer a casual dinning restaurant, and that's fine, don't want to push too many boundaries in one night. Then for entertainment we could go to live comedy, go to a laser show, a movie, or come back to my place and play some Guitar Hero or Wii. I don't cook dinner before the second date :)
