I am a single parent with one child still at home in high school. My eldest is out of the house.
I am legally separated and have been living separate for 3 years now. I will be officially D in 2010. I feel the need to be upfront about my status.

People have described me as cute, attractive. I would say I am average. I am on the reserved side during the day at work. I guess over the years I've come out of my shell. I may still seem serious when we meet for the first time. That's my shyness.

I am a lady out in public, but sometimes when I go out I do like to relax and have fun. The ability to dance or williness to dance is a plus with me.


I'd like to meet somebody who likes to go out and dance and also stay in and watch TV or DVD movies. I do like the outdoors and fishing, and trying new things. I like to ice skate, rather than roller skate, I enjoy canoing although I still need pointers here and there in the river. I probably could easily pick up kayaking.

I would like to go out for a light lunch, coffee, or tea. If that works, follow up next time with dinner and are you up for dancing?
We both need to feel the click and get along mentally and be attracted physically.
