In a world were you can be anything you want, why not be yourself.


So, I was out in Texas for work for a while and I met some quality people. Now, I am back in Georgia. I am always up for meeting more friends and having a good laid back time. As far as what I am looking for in respect to a relationship, a man, a real man with good character and values who loves his family. I want *not need* someone who I can laugh hysterically with about some stupid off the wall, nobody else would understand stuff. Someone who loves music, who understands the value of just sitting or laying somewhere comfortably quiet. I am not perfect and I don't expect or want you to be. I would just kinda like us to be perfect for each other. I want you to smile for me like you have never smiled for anyone else. I am very independent and hard headed but these are good things. It means I am not needy and clingy and I value my personal time as well as our together time. It also means I am pretty determined when it comes to something I believe is right or something that I want. I definitely believe that all good and long relationships are founded on a deep friendship. If we aren't friends, when we are 85 years old (hypothetically speaking) sitting on the front porch in our rocking chairs watching the leaves fall...what will we talk about or not talk about. I mean when all is said and done I guess I want to say I had the most amazing opportunity to spend a lifetime with my best friend. BUT before all that happens I guess we have to find each other. So friends first, and then who knows.

Ok...here's the deal. We obviously aren't going to have a traditional first date but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. Let's go do something that allows us to talk and show our personalities and laugh.....lots and lots of laughs. There's a time and place for serious talk but you shouldn't learn every single thing about me on the first date. There's something to be said for mystery and intrigue. Besides, if you have to work a little for the knowledge of me, maybe, just maybe you'll cherish and appreciate the treasure you find.
