I heard about this site from a friend, so I thought I would give it a try. I've been on others like it, and did meet some interesting people, but not that one special person I've been hoping to meet.

I'm probably your average guy, divorced for a while, with a 14 year old daughter. I'm originally from Canada, and have lived in Connecticut for the last 15 years. I have a great job that I love, and for the most part, everything has come together for me except for meeting the one person who truly is for me. It's difficult to meet people in the real world, so this site and others like it provide a tool to meet other people who are searching as well.

I have varied interests...I love to read, ride my motorcycle, and I enjoy everything about the outdoors.

Meeting for the first time, I believe for most people, can be a little nerve wracking. But, once you get that initial introduction over with, it gets much easier. For the most part, I feel having lunch or dinner together on a first date provides ample time for you to talk and get to know one another. Some people like to do something simpler like go for coffee, which is fine too, because everyone has a different comfort level when it comes to dating.
