So this is the part where I bare my soul? *scratches head*. First of all, I am the father of a wonderful beautiful 7 year old girl. While I may have many titles in my life, by far the most important title I will ever have is "daddy". I am half white and half black. (dont deny it, you were wondering). This makes me a walking, talking zebra. Hey...who isnt mixed with something now days!! I love reading, writing, the beach, sports of all sorts, movies of all sorts and I am currently training for mixed martial arts. Noooo..this doesnt make me stud man man but it is a sport a man in his 30's can do without looking like an idiot!! I could pull something swinging at a baseball at my age!! My life is pretty full. Between my work in Academics, my faith and I-Carley, High School Musical dad...I keep a pretty up beat schedule. However, there is down time there too. Thus, here I am.

My faith is an important part of my life. Through all the trying times in my past, I would not still be sane without gods love in my life. Most people reading this do understand. However, there are some that think that this means I am going to smack you in the head with a bible and spend the first date telling you all about the fires of hell. Not quite! You have been watching too much Jerry Falwell. It does mean however that I value myself as someone with morals and respect.

Hmmmmm...first date. Well it all depends on the person. In the past, I have done everything from an NBA championship game (for a first date) to a very quiet candlelight dinner at a quaint South Beach resturant. Other first dates have included a fondue dinner or just cooking at home (I am fine with that too) :). One first date, we went to a wine tasting festival. I really want the person I am with to have a very good time on the first date. I think a first day SHOULD be somewhere in a setting where two people can talk. Public so that everyone is comfortable but not so crowded that I have to text message you in order to communicate while we are in the same location! I dont mind your friends coming with you. After all, we dont know each other and I really want you to comfortable. However, if you bring some friends and then we meet 60 more where we are going, this is not a very conducive enviornment for being able to get to know someone for the first time :)
