I'm a sailor in the US Navy. Currently stationed on the USS Port Royal out of Pearl Harbor, HI. I am an FC3 (aka Fire Controlman Third Class Petty Officer), meaning that I do electronics repair on the weapons system on board Naval Ships and am given some semblance of responsibility and leadership roles during the workday.

Enough about what I do for a living. I'm different than most people. I'm a southern country boy in that I was raised in small town Arkansas. I like to fish but not hunt. Don't like to go fourwheeling. Do like to drink, but not beer unless I've had a few shots of whiskey first. But I can't be defined as just that. I'm also a devout Taoist. I do believe that people can fall for one another quickly, but it's not love like a lot of people today like to say. I believe that love is something that takes years to build...

I'm generally a kind, trusting (sometimes too trusting) person who gives respect to everyone until they give me a reason not to. I'm not necessarily lazy, but don't tend to go out that much until I get to know new people or new places in an area.

First date...

Something that allows me to get to know the person better. Start out somewhere casual like a pool hall or coffee shop. Then after talking for some time go to get something to eat and maybe a movie or walk along the beach to finish up the night.

Honestly though...

That's something that will vary from person to person, as everyone is different and wants different things on a first date.
