An unasked for observation on my part: It seems nearly ALL of us are absolutely enamored of and experiencing the same activities in our lives (is it something ingrained in our Lesbian Lore or is it in the water?...or SACRE BLEU - are we just - as our psychologist might suggest -overcompensating....? *snark*) TO-WIT:
motorcycle - check (still on the look out for a Segway riding Lesbian - sporting pride stickers and all!!! - oh the imagery....the IMAGERY!!! LOL)
jumping out of an airplane - check
kayaking - huge check
scuba diving (not yet, but as Annie would sing: There's always "....toooo-MORROW!!!") - check
walks on beach, camping, boating, bicycling, traveling, beach, hiking - check to the nth power.
dancing/music - oh yes (including....dammit! Country...AND what? :) - check
no drama (shouldn't this go without even saying?) regardless.... - check
exercise* - check (*variations on the definitions are used.....)
eat healthy* - check (*ditto)
eat sushi (liberally interpreted) - check
love friends, family and foes - check
MUST LOVVVVVVVE animals - (hem, haw, shifts left & right, hands in pockets, looks down, as she side kicks the dirt floor with the front of her sneakers......) - can I get back with you on this one?
mooning over the stars - check
must be horoscopically (ouch...why does that sound so invasive?) compatible - check
cozy and cuddling - check
deep and philosophical conversation "coupled" with light and piquant conversation - check
great kisser/lover - waiter!!!! - check!
my, my, we're all (myself included!!!) veritable "she-women" of Lesbian Land....we damn sure are giving "Xena the Warrior Princess" a run for her Shekles aren't we? And yet for some unknown and unfathomable reason....the road is long and arduous in being able to actually "find" and/or "connect" with somebody in this "fish" pond....
Where's She-rlock when you need her? (this is where the "sense of humor" - check! and "not taking things too seriously" - check! - comes in....)

I consider myself...nope, strike that...I AM: Articulate, smart, incisive and intuitive, logical and practical. "Intense" (in a subtle and subdued way) and at times "slightly overwhelming" comes instantly to mind - at least I recognize it as such. You may have an entirely different perspective.
Above it says "hang out" - but that's how all encounters must begin....then, through subsequent get togethers, you await the progression or digression of same. True?
Caucasian/Latin (and subtle variations thereof) Femmes are my attraction. I also ask that you too, through your mind, might, soul, body and spirit - be "in shape".
I'ts not that hard of an endeavor...."Ms. Willpower", in whatever positive format she presents herself in and whereever she may be lurking around and about you, patiently awaits recognition of her existence and import in your life.... Be very attentive though....she WILL surreptitiously seek to escape from your POWER once you think you have dominion over her.
Do I (in my "shallowness") need a picture of your visage? Of course.....long, LONG gone should be the days of your being "ashamed", "reticent" or "scared" of being "out". In my world, I am attracted to and will seek only a LTR with another femme female (although "Futches" are intriguing :) - should you desire to step over the threshhold to getting to know each other, you truly should be just as confident in who, how and why you are....
Let NO ONE diminish YOU.

Time mandates that it will provide for desires, needs and wants.....and I acquiesce to the Universe and it's parameters of all things to come.

Just because..... Lady friends, here's a couple of thoughts for pondering:
We're all in the same circle - the cities nor the clubs ever really have "new and exciting women" that people seem to think are being manufactured every weekend....all those "Hot Women" that the Lesbian promotors....promote......are us....circulating amongst each other.... Droves of "new and exciting" lesbians are NOT inundating Miami or the Tri-County area on a weekly basis. Reflect this: wouldn't you be a little suspicious of such "mobile" women.....how confident would you be in actually starting a LT (or any relationship) with such individuals?
We're in a very small circle - my theory and my THEORY only (none of these numbers are statistically proven of course)
150 million women in the United States
+/- 1% identify as "lesbian?" = 1.5 million lesbians
+/- 800,000 are consenting adult lesbians
+/- 16,000 per each of the 50 States (Awfully cold in Alaska.....maybe only 300 there? - JK!!)
+/- 10,000 (am I being generous?) in our tri-county area (given the umpteen counties/cities in each state)
+/- 3,000 in Miami
Now here is where it gets frustrating:
- % not out
- % confused
- % wants man involved
- % merely experimenting
- % within your reasonably acceptable age range
- % bi-sexual, bi-polar, bi-furcated in all aspects of life....
Let's see: carry the 4, subtract the 9, add the 7, divide by 3 - that leaves approximately 643
"hard core, 100%, looking for a legitimate and realistic relationship, notwitstanding all its ups and downs, left and rights, as is so enjoyed by the heterosexual world...." LESBIAN.
We rotate among the "x" lesbian clubs currently in operation and I'm supposed to be able to find you on a specific given night, time and place and assess you (as you me) as to each others "potential"..... (for unless you've got rainbow hued tennis shoes on, rainbow shoe laces, rainbow Ipod Armband, quint-colored your hair, Equality Sticker on your purse, Saphhic themed tattoo located on a socially acceptable exposed body part, rainbow flag earrings on....I certainly won't know that I have permission to wink at you while walking down the street, now will I?)

) Ah, the frustrations of this existence......but DAMN..., I'll be damned if anyone EVER suggests I "give up" being a lesbian...
