I am at a crossroads in my life. I am moving away from the person I used to be, a person who allowed others to walk all over him and being satisfied with a dead end life, dreaming about what my future could be while lacking the courage to go out and achieve those dreams.

That time has passed for me. While I still have fears that I have yet to overcome I have started down the path of knowing my own self-worth. I have gone back to school with a dedication and drive that I really haven’t had since 5th grade. I received my associate’s degree a couple of years ago and am working towards my bachelor’s degree. I have started down a career path that I enjoy and that will allow me to better live a life outside of the workplace.

I have many struggles ahead of me, I know that I will never be a person that has it all together, but then no such person exists. The only people that have it all together are the dead, they are the only ones who have nothing further to strive for and they are the only ones who want for nothing. I hope to spend a very long time not being all together…

I have learned that I can achieve my goals and make a better future for myself on my own but it would be a much more enjoyable journey if I had someone to walk at my side. Someone who will support me, love me, challenge me, encourage my independence, require my devotion and most importantly, allow me to fill these rolls and more for them.

I’m the quiet one, the geeky one, the kind-hearted one, the resolute one, a protector, the nice guy that will give you what the bad boy always and forever will fail to give.

I prefer casual first date something that requires jeans and a nice shirt. An early dinner at a nice but relaxed restaurant somewhere downtown, being able to sit down and get to know someone. From there I give myself and my date options for what to do next. I keep a couple of ideas available so we don't feel forced into something that isn't right for the current mood. We can go walk around downtown or along the oceanfront or go to one of many clubs or bars for some drinks or have tickets to a show on standby.
