Life is good. I still work, but have energy, desire, and time for a caring relationship. I am warm, generous, enthusiastic and fun. I am positive and can usually find the gift in most everything (and everyone) even if it is not apparent initially. I enjoy good conversations, cooking at home or eating out, going to movies, theatre, concerts and art galleries. Lately I've started taking Country Western dance lessons and am loving it. I'm learning to follow.

I love the outdoors and my favorite thing to do on weekends and early in the morning is to ride my bike in rural settings, past the longhorns, horses, and goats. I've even raced an armadillo. Just started jogging again and enjoy getting back into it. I'm active, and curious about life and living and enjoy meeting new people. However, I also treasure alone time and quiet conversations with a special friend.

I have traveled internationally for business in Canada and Europe (spending time mostly in Italy and Greece) and I have traveled for pleasure in many of the European countries (France, Switzerland, Germany). I rode my bike all over Spain and then in Mexico with a University colleague several years ago. Currently I travel the US for business so when I am home, I'm a bit of a home-body. I like to cook and garden and simple things make me happy. Tenderness surprises me and thoughtfulness delights me. Simplicity, elegance, things done right are important to me. I have wonderful relationships with three adult children and my grandchildren - currently six. I have a grandaughter 23 and another who was born this August with other grandaughters and grandsons inbetween. They are a delight in my life and I work to connect with all of them.

I'm looking for a good man who is smart, confident, and engaged with life - enough to share conversation, energy, time, experiences, and open and available enough to see where that leads. I've had a full, good and interesting life with many experiences including businesses, education, and national and international travel, a life abundant enough to want to share. I was married for many years, now single for long enough to miss the company of a man. My search is about desire, not need. So, I'm looking for a man who can bring "it" to the table.
