I would like to meet someone first for a coffee, before a date is discussed. I cannot forsee what the date will be like, until I meet the person face-to-face, because I think that each person has a different outlook on what a first date should be. But meeting for a coffee, or a drink is a first step, weather it be at a bar, mall, or small coffee shop.
