First, I am not big on describing myself, you should know me before judging me. What I write, is not the same as what I say, not that I would lie about myself. It's just different. Second, I am starting to second guess if this site is ever going to work. I have met great people, but a few people does not constitute this site or online dating in general to be all that great, maybe you could change my mind? But I am determined to find "the one". Eventually, one day, it will happen. Third, I am not going to jump head first into a relationship. Did it, worked for a bit, but in the end... didn't work out. Don't get me wrong, I would like one, but need to make sure that before getting into a relationship... Two people are compatible. Let's just start as friends. Now that you have gotten past my little intro or whatever you would like to call it, let's get down to who I am...

Hi, my name is John, 26 (turning 27 very soon) years old, Thai (twinkie lol, born and raised in in the US, MD to be exact, moved to VA 4 years ago) with an athletic build, brown eyes, short black hair, bubbly personality, affectionate, and just a true romantic. I have quite a bit of designer label clothes and use Redken Men shampoo and soap, but I am not high maintenance at all if that is even believable. I wear my heart on a sleeve, so I don't play games. I like to cuddle and snuggle up while watching a movie. I also like to play around and wrestle every now and then haha. I love to take random day trips to the beach or Six Flags/Kings Dominion. I am quite the automotive enthusiast, but not as big on cars as I used to be. I just bought a new Trek 3700 hard tail bike and want to hit the trails, so it would be sweet to have someone to bike the W&OD Trail with. I often get complements on looking like Tiger Woods, although, unfortunately, I don't play golf quite as well (not even close haha but I try!).

My college background is that I studied Laws of Armed Conflict, Rules of Engagement, and Aircraft Operations (F/A-18C) during my tour in the US Navy. Also earned college credits through boot camp. I have been lucky to travel the world during my deployment. I have traveled to a couple different countries such as France, Italy, Greece, Slovania, and England. If you count Iraq, then you can add that as well haha. I will be honest and say that I was your typical "Drunken Sailor" in each of these port visits, but did have sober, touristy days too.
Pretty much, now, my traveling consists of flying to Las Vegas every year with my parents (girlfriend too, if present), and just having fun whether gambling or just enjoying the sights, sounds, and food. I think Bellagio's dancing water show is very romantic.

My turn on's: Current or former military (I am), in shape, confident, gotta like ice skating, likes cars, and intelligent. If you want me to keep you on your toes, you gotta keep me on my toes too! Hey, it's a two way street! Haha

Turn off's: Smoking, alcoholics (drinking everyday and getting wasted all the time), sloppiness (ex. Your dress clothes are wrinkled beyond hell), bad/poor hygiene, poor spelling and punctuation (you don't know the difference between there and their, or your and you're) and people that take advantage of good people.

I would like to meet a lady between 22 and 30 (although I have just learned that age is just a number and does not speak about how mature a person is). The type to support me whether I am playing ice hockey or racing my car at the drag strip. Someone I can go bike riding with whether on a trail or mountain. A workout partner to keep me motivated for running, calisthenics, or weight training. Or just whip me into shape. Active is the key here... Challenge me mentally as well as physically, you can never be too smart. I am ideally looking for a Caucasian girl, but I don't discriminate, so drop me a line. It's not gonna hurt to try, right? Someone who wants to have kids is definitely what I am looking for, but I'd prefer you don't have any children at the present time. Although there are always exceptions to the rule. These are not rules, just preferences. With me, it is all about confidence. Somebody who has a goofy or silly personality would be nice, as I am sure we will get along just fine haha. It's not that I am a picky person, because I am not. I just know what I want in life and out of a potential soul mate or relationship. Also, I love all types of music with the exception of Country. Love Rock, R&B, Jazz, Alternative, Hip-Hop, and Pop to name a few. But mostly listen to Rock. It all just depends on my mood.

Usually, it depends on what you like to do. Usually, I switch it up between going ice skating or going for a walk around the Old Town Alexandria Waterfront. Sometimes both. I am pretty good at surprising people, since they don't know what I can and can't do. I use the element of surprise to my advantage in a good way. If it ends good, top it off with a good night kiss and hopefully continue from there on. ;-)
