I am reasonably responsible, and appropriately childish. I love to laugh, and I think it's no long shot to say I'm a pretty nerdy person.... I love spontaneity, so maybe I'll surprise you with a day-trip to see tide pools, or an elaborate meal fixed up just because I felt like it. It'd be awesome if you surprised me back sometimes. ^^ Every day is a fresh start for me, so I often express wonder at very simple things--a full moon, a silhouette on a wall, the color of a sunset.

I'm no sports fan, but I like to move around a lot anyway. I played rugby for a week and found out my knees couldn't take it, but I still want to grab a rugby ball and have a game sometime! I may not be in the best shape, but I'll be laughing and having fun while I wheeze and fall over. I live by the beach, and love going down to the rocks to explore tidepools, or just play chicken in the waves. Also, if the mood hits me and I'm in a sufficiently awesome setting, I like to break out into spontaneous Tai Chi.

At home, I love all sorts of crafts. Soldering, clay work, ceramics, glass fusing, drawing, painting, decorating clothing, interior design, it's all my favorite! My art sometimes shows up in strange places...I sometimes draw pictures on the underside of toilet lids, as a surprise for the next person that sits down. Once or twice, the hardboiled eggs in the fridge have surprised our guests with expressions of terror drawn onto their shells. If you like finding little notes and surprise art, I'm your girl.

I have pretty eclectic taste in music, but I love singing to all of it! I sing all the time, and sometimes contribute to conversations by singing into them. I juggle (badly), tell stories about Dungeons and Dragons, and geek out about grammar and comic book characters. I can't stand being mopey, so I'm always trying to remind people of the stuff worth smiling about. I recently had a package of cookie-decorating stuff anonymously sent to a friend who was feeling down--little gestures like that mean a lot to me, and I like to surprise people with wonderful things.

I can be shy at first, but that doesn't really last long. I'm very open, and comfortable with my sexuality, my lazy version of spirituality, and my body, so I don't have many taboos. If you do, and I abuse them, I'm sorry! Sometimes I forget that college has made me a raging hippie. (Not really.) I tried Marine Biology, but couldn't wrap my head around Chemistry.... Then I tried Spanish, but while I love learning languages, I don't know if I like getting graded for it. Now I'm a Religious Studies major, and enjoying it quite a bit. 3

Some of my favorite authors, as a glimpse to my personality, include Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchet, Douglas Adams, Melanie Rawn, Jasper Fford, and Robert Heinlein. I enjoy movies from my childhood, nearly every variation of Peter Pan ever made, and comedy/action movies for more mature audiences.

You, hopefully, enjoy reading as much as you enjoy watching movies on the couch. You can take a joke, and dish one out, but when it's time to stop, we all respect each others' boundaries. Hopefully, you love a good game of Tag or Frisbee, and aren't terrified of dolls. Can you geek out on occasion? That will earn you big points. If you don't enjoy cooking, that's okay, I'll be your chef.

Can you dominate? I like a girl who can dominate me. I may be genderqueer, but I'm looking for a pleasant butch, maybe, who hasn't forgotten chivalry. For that reason, I hope you respect diversity. Please be cuddly; I'll be your teddy bear. Kink isn't everything--sometimes ya just gotta start a cuddle puddle.
Last but not least, I hope you don't mind a bit of experimentation! Food, games, hair colors--let's mess around and make some memories.

Man, I hate writing these things, but when the muse hits me, damn. o_o

I could go to a movie and chat about it afterwards over coffee, or I could go for a walk in a park or on a beach. I could go somewhere as low-key as a Borders, to spend a few hours wandering through shelves and sharing favorite authors, or I could go laser tagging or roller blading. We could go somewhere to take pictures of pretty things, like a zoo, a cemetery, or a forest, or we could just spend some time in a kitchen, making complicated and extravagant dishes. I'm a bit of a Jack of all trades. =3
