I have all of my teeth, most of my hair and half of the sense I should have. I WILL bite if provoked. My family tree branches and I don't act my age. After many failed attempts to prove otherwise, I have come to terms with the fact that the laws of physics really DO apply to me!

I am passionate about most everything I do, personally and professionally. If something is worth doing it's worth doing right or not at all.

I love to cook and travel. I'm into Photography, Snow Skiing, SCUBA diving, Golf, Volleyball, Billiards, Basketball, Paintball, Live Music and Performing Arts (except mimes, they're disturbing). I've just recently gotten into rock climbing (it's a LOT harder than it looks).

I have a very eclectic taste in music. Here is a sampling of bands I like: Three Days Grace, Genesis, Audio Slave, Pink Floyd, Nickelback, The Rolling Stones, INXS, Moby, Pepper, Sublime, Icehouse, Depeche Mode, The Police, Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Styx, Eve 6, The Fixx, Shaggy, The Gorillaz and Caroline's Spine.

I have a very rewarding career, and enjoy what I do. When I am not working, I'm having fun. I love to laugh, but more importantly I love to make others laugh. I tell people I'm an equal opportunity offender. When it comes to humor, no topic is taboo so long as it's meant in jest. Curmudgeons, thin-skinned people and the “politically correct”, BEWARE!

I am very social and love to meet cool folk! I enjoy meeting new people. When I get old, if I get Alzheimer's, I'll get to meet new people EVERYDAY.

I'm a firm believer in giving your best to everyone, being socially responsible, and respecting others. Likewise, I expect nothing less in return.

One last thing, maybe someone can answer "What possesses (holy cow that word has a lot of "S's") people to put pictures of their pets (just the pet NO OWNER) on a dating website?"

I don't believe in having a monolithic, pre-planned, multi-part "first date". It puts too much pressure on a first meeting. I like to keep it low-key, just a cup of hot coffee or an adult beverage or two in a nice quiet place. It will give us an opportunity to share some wonderful conversation and get to know each other. Chemistry is key and you can usually tell within an hour if it's there or not. If we hit it off, then perhaps we can be spontaneous and go do something fun. If not, we at least met, made a new friend and hopefully enriched our lives.
