About Me
I am a widow and have been single for 4 years. Relax, I am not looking to get married again, just wanting companionship. I was married for over 30 years, so I think I am easy to get along with. I am independent and am not looking for a man to support me. I think this journey called "Life" is better if shared with someone you care about.
I am petite. I am 5' and weigh 106 lbs. I have blond hair and blue eyes.
I live in the Northland of Kansas City. I like dining out, going to art fairs, museums, comedy clubs and concerts. I like watching some sporting events and tend to cheer for the underdog.
I am not into macho men, but prefer men that are sensitive, patient, romantic and adventurous. I adore a man with a sense of humor. My next adventures are sky-diving and taking a Hot Air Balloon flight. I will be doing both, but would prefer to do them with a partner. I would love to find a man that likes to cook. You cook and I'll clean.
I have traveled in the past and want to find someone that likes to travel, as there are many places I still hope to discover.
My favorite music is "Oldies" Rock-N-Roll. I am a huge Elvis fan. I like arts and crafts, reading, painting, counted cross-stitch and decorating my home. I am a bit of a Martha Stewart wanna-be. I also like to write poetry.
I have a job, not a career, so if you are looking for a woman that is career oriented, pass me by, I am not your girl.

 | Even though my situation is not yet complete, I was blessed with the company of Kathy for one great afternoon. We spent it as friends. She gave me a tour of her lovely apartment - certainly well decked out. We then went to a couple of Asian markets to get the ingredients for lunch. I wanted her to experience something new. She suvivied the experience! We then went to check out an apartment I'm thinking of renting close to the City Market, then back to my house where I prepared a mild Thai dish that she seemed to enjoy and ended the evening sipping wine outside by the firepit. Kathy is beyond a joy to be with. A soft, sweet soul. I was lucky to have had the time to spend with her and hope she honors me again with a 2nd + time. Each visit I will try my best to deliver a different dish that she might enjoy. And yes I do the clean-up
The entire afternoon was a joy for me and I trust for her as well.
Even Lucy (my Yorkie) loved her. And that says alot.

 | I've known Kathy a little over a year and we've gone out several times. I can tell you she is one of the sweetest women I've known. And her pictures don't do her justice, she's adoreable. I consider her one of my best female friends. If you want a level headed lady that's a lot of fun to be with, check her out. You won't be disappointed.
