I am outgoing...most of the time. I seldom if ever can, or really want to take myself very seriously. I'm bi-racial, half-German, half African-American. People tell me I'm built like a tank, I guess because I used to be a bodybuilder/ weightlifter. Unfortunately I don't look like a body builder any more...oh well. I am well read in art history and I've studied medieval lit.(BA), marketing(BBA), law (JD), and experimental electronics. I worked as an illustrator to help pay my way through college,and I still draw & paint for myself. I even posted a couple of my drawings. I used to read voraciously, 2-3 books a week but that's more like one a week nowadays. I also collect books mostly art related & I collect engravings, etchings and most types of prints. I love music. I also like people and give them the benefit of the doubt when I first meet them. However, someone with a little built in skepticism might compliment me...and keep me from being surprised by how mean some people can be. But hey, that's life.
A woman who is kind, self sufficient and likes herself, who has intellectual interests but, is also sensual, passionate about something, compassionate, earthbound, and can like dumb silly things is my dream woman. She is non-judgmental with a live and let live attitude. Thats key and really important. She appreciates that being smart is a good thing...I really do think smart women are a good thing...but also realizes, that we all still have to work at being a good person. Her nice-n-easy smile doesn't hurt either, in fact, it makes up for many shortcomings.

To meet someplace for coffee, tea, or soda. Preferably take a walk along some body of water or some old part of town with interesting things to look at and spark conversation. If that goes well, perhaps lunch or dinner and continue the conversation over a good meal. Nothing pretentious for that first meal together...but definitely not fast food either. But if the conversation goes really, really well, I doubt the food and location will be noticed anyway.
