Maybe the living with parents thing turns a few of you off? Maybe it's the low income level? Maybe I'm just ugly? Haha...I don't know.

I'm 33 and yes living the cliche life. Single, living in the parents basement. If you want to know the background about that, feel free to ask, but the short summary is I had enough when the girl I bought an engagement ring for, disappeared after I told her I bought it. Turns out she was a liar and still married, but that's what happens when you do long distance across a state.

Anyway, I'm very sports-oriented, still play hockey, love baseball, and just about all the rest. From what people tell me, I'm fun to be around, fun to talk to, and at my brother's wedding, I made everyone cry with my best man speech. Mind you, I wrote that in 30 minutes the night before. It was quite moving. (and no that's not him in the pic, that's one of my best friends)

While I'm not completely high on my self-esteem, I do know I have a lot to offer the right woman. And to the wrong ones, I can still be a great friend. So feel free to say hi to me, you never know what you might miss out on.

First date...hmmm...well I guess the first thing is it should be no pressure. Shouldn't be too built up or anything, however, some anticipation is good. It should also be mutually agreed upon. Sorry, but being new here, I don't know what's fun and what's not. And isn't the point of it to be fun for both?
