I am the mother of two sons, living with three dogs. :) My sons are in college (living with me). Our dogs are a Yorkie (11 years old), a Black Lab (2 years old), and a German Shepherd mix (1 year old). They are all rescues. I am an animal lover (obviously) and desire someone who is the same. And yes, I am done adopting dogs. HA!

I am financially and emotionally secure, and like my job. I have a positive outlook on life and believe that no problem is too big to solve. I can complete small home repairs and like to think I'm handy around the house. I try to live in a drama-free zone and enjoy it. I have a few hobbies and like to read. I like to be active, although I'm certainly not a fanatic. Active to me is a walk, bicycle ride, attending a festival, seeing a movie, taking my dogs for a walk...anything that involves getting out, meeting new people and having a good conversation. :) I don't sky dive, bungee jump, or ride roller coasters. :)

I'm looking for a confident man who is generally happy with his life. I'm not looking to change anyone or smother anyone, and I'm not looking for anyone to change me. I would love a strong shoulder to rest my head upon occasionally. I don't smoke and I am not looking to date a smoker, occasional or constant. (No offense, but I'm a former smoker and I think I'm true to that old adage...former smokers make the most intolerant nonsmokers.) I don't date multiple men at once, and I'm not looking for a serial dater that will try to work me in between his other women. **chuckle** I'm looking to date someone steadily to see if it can deepen and develop into something longer term. That is, of course, unless you sweep me off of my feet while I'm not looking! If that happens, all bets are off! **wink**

Anything that involves great conversation peppered with plenty of laughter.
