First and foremost. I have a daughter that is the very essence of my life. She has taught me so much and brought more love and joy to my life than I could ever begin to describe. I also have a great relationship with her mother and couldn't be more thankful for that.

I am a nerdy type of guy in the sense that I like history, science, and video games (I love math for what it is, although, I suck at it), but throw me in the woods and I'd survive (I'd like to consider myself a man's man, but, I do have a tender side and nerdy side as you can tell). I am confident, honest, loyal, utterly faithful, intelligent, caring, and strong. I am a private person but have no issues letting the right person in. I can be blunt and speak my mind but am sensitive and smart enough to not be mean about it.

I am into the same things most people are, such as movies and concerts to hiking and camping (even long distance hiking/camping), which goes nicely with my fondness of photography (lately I've been having fun with long exposures at night). I also enjoy a good go-karting session. So if you have similar interests: +10 points for you!

I could entertain myself with a list of documentaries all day if I had nothing better to do. My brain is full of little odds and ends. I love travelling and learning about the history of where I’m visiting. And no nerd would be complete without conquering worlds and playing master of his domain, if he didn’t play video games. I’ll admit it I enjoy them, hell worked on them for three years. But as in all things moderation is key.

I’ve done quiet a bit in my short life and contribute that to my confidence in myself, knowing that I can do anything I put my mind to. I've had a wide range of jobs, from being a Firefighter in Oregon, an Infantryman in the Army (11Hotel), to dealing Blackjack for a casino. I've worked in production for several video game developers which was an interesting adventure. Before the economy tanked I was in banking and then insurance but was lucky enough to see where things were going and changed professions. I've even owned my own little business. But throughout it all it’s shaped me into who I am today. Eventually I’d like to get back into the Fire Department, but, here in Southern California the competition is heavy and with the economy the way it is there is even more competition than say a year ago. Perseverance and determination are what keep me going (I did it in Oregon I can do it here in California).

My time is precious to me and I tend to work alot and spend my free time with my daughter and relaxing. Having said that I would more than love to share my time with that special someone and would always make time for her. I keep myself busy at work as I don't really have much else to do. My days off are too precious to give up to work. I'll work 24 hours a day just don't make me work on my days off haha.

I moved around a lot when I was younger, and spent seven years in the UK (So the meaning and definition of what a Gentleman is, is not lost on me by any means, and I tend to find myself stuck at doors keeping it open for random strangers - yes I open doors for female strangers. It's not really a matter of being a gentleman, it's a matter of being polite, but I digress). When I came back to the States, I moved between Oregon and California. I Finally settled in CA and I have a wonderful core set of friends I’ve known since before high school that still live in the area.

I think it's fair to mention I have a love for tattoos (and have recently decided to make a bolder statement in terms of having my right arm an entire sleeve - so as you can imagine I wear a lot of long sleeve shirts, most people have no clue I have them, and I try to keep it that way), which seems to surprise a lot of people, since apparently to some I look too clean cut (Amazing what can be under a long sleeve shirt!). I believe heavily in symbolism and for me they are a story of the accomplishments, merits in my life, to paying homage to my family members that are close to me, to showing my heritage (I'm half Native American). I keep them hidden - point being don't be afraid you can't take me home to mom!

I live on my own in Burbank and now have the quickest commute to work I've ever had.... small things make me happy, I'd just like to find someone to be happy with, and enjoy what life has to offer us... to make of it what we want. I'd like to meet someone that is unwaviering in their loyalty and faithfulness, who is confident about who they are and how they look, knows what honesty is (and can be a big enough person to tell me things dispite how harsh it may be), has some stability their lives, someone that is drama free (there is a difference between being upset and talking things through vs causing drama and being a butthead), she should be able to make me laugh and make me fall for her everytime she smiles at me (I'll go for 3 out of 4 haha). Someone who can challenge me, teach me, stimulate me, conversate, and provoke me (in a good way) to see new things. I want to be able to learn from her and to be able to teach her as well. To grow with one another. To laugh at one anothers grey hairs together. I want to know what makes her driven in life, her dreams, her desires and wants (I still want my own island damnit!!). A desire to travel, even if its to a local city we've never been to, or save up together and see another country. Someone who can let loose and laugh out loud with me over the silliest of things, even if that means we’re stuck in our own little weird world that no one but ourselves can understand. Physical beauty may fade away, but the true mark of a man is knowing how to keep his girl smiling forever.

I'm all for being the gentleman, but traditional ways of meeting people kind of goes out the window online, so take a chance and contact me. Make the first move and I'll do the rest

A first date? I think it's safe to assume we would meet up for coffee or tea. I completely understand how cliche that is but lets be honest with eachother, if we don't click, would you really want to be stuck for hours with someone that you know there isn't any future with?

Now having said that if there has been amazing chemistry over the phone and I truely feel like there is something there (you know that feeling that just overwhelms you.... you just, "Know". Or for a second date), then I am completely open to expanding that first date. I'd still like to meet somewhere first just incase things don't translate into real life. But if things are the same as they are over the phone and online then perhaps we could go go-karting and do a few races, maybe take a walk near/on the beach and just talk (catch a sunset or sunrise - although we'd have to change perspectives if we watch the sun come up). We could take a drive to no-where and see where the road takes us and explore Southern Californias hidden secrets. I'm also open to suggestions. I'm all for being the gentleman and taking the lead, but, knowing a woman will speak up and offer her point of view is utterly sexy to me.
