To me, fun times include friendly conversations and new experiences. When out, I don't often shy away from starting a conversation with a total stranger. You just never know who you might meet. A couple of months ago at dinner I met my tennis instructor and my real estate agent! I love going to new places for an adventure near home or far away...taking it all in. If you see me at Radnor Lake, I won't be the girl walking the trails with headphones on. I'll be the one smiling and saying hello as you pass by or I'll be stopped along the trail watching something...a deer, an owl or maybe just the moss growing on the tree that has fallen down beside the trail. In town, I like any outdoor festival...Brewer's Festival,Greek Festival, Live On The Green. I recently participated in my first Dragon Boat race. It was a blast and I discovered that I love to row. Volunteering for my first Jack and Back MS ride in Oct was also fun and I recently crossed participating in a turkey shoot off my new things to do list. As much as I like staying active and trying new things, sometimes I like taking time to just lounge and do nothing...sitting on the deck listening to the sounds of summer..lounging on the beach....cuddling on the couch :) (when in a relationship I'm pretty affectionate).

Which brings me to what I'm looking for. I would like to spend some time with someone and build a friendship first, see where it goes and if right, naturally progress into something serious/long-term and at some point marriage. The guy I’m looking for is just the typical guy who doesn’t always get things right but who is willing to grow and learn together and be ok with me not always getting it right either. :) He is someone I respect, admire and adore. He is confident in who he is, enjoys his work or is in the process of finding or creating something he enjoys. He knows what he wants in life and is working toward it and enjoys challenges in business and personally. When he makes plans and commitments with me or anyone, he follows through (including calling when he says he will but please not 10x’s a day). :) He is usually in a good mood and able to keep a level head and maybe even see the positives and opportunities when things aren’t going as planned. He surrounds himself with loving, positive people and enjoys helping others and making them smile. His health is important to him and he is in reasonably good shape. He enjoys doing those little things that matter like holding doors open, planning special dates, remembering special dates:), helping carry in the groceries or rubbing lotion on my back because he knows how much I appreciate things like that. We have fun going on weekend trips (maybe Chicago or camping), drives to nowhere in particular, an adventurous European tour, visits to see family and friends to my homestate (CA) and his or just a spontaneous drive to Atlanta on Sunday for dinner. He is generous with loving words and physical affection and feels comfortable falling asleep in my arms and likes it when I fall asleep in his. And the MOST important thing I’m looking for…he doesn’t mind that my feet are cold in the winter and I use his legs to warm them up! Ahhhhh!! :-P
