I'm tired of meeting up with guys that never talk to me again, or don't have jobs or cars and want me to pick them up. Whatever happened to chivalry? Why can't we just meet somewhere for a beer and a chat, and maybe you could even open the door for me? I'll pay my own way, that's not a problem. Don't be looking for sex. Sex is great, but not on the first day...or probably the second. I've done this wrong so many times, and I want to do it right. Maybe that's why my relationships don't last. The guys either never call back, or leave a note saying they went to live in the woods like the guy from "into the wild". (true story) (and he really did go live in the woods. it' wasn't just a ploy to get me out of his life forever) I'm looking for my best friend. someone who can come over, curl up on the couch with me and we can share a blanket and light candles and read together. Or stay up until the wee hours of 1:00 (I know, I'm lame) and just talk about stuff before I pass out on his lap. I have one of those phones where you can set your alarm clock to wake you up using a recorded message? So maybe one day you have to leave before I wake up, and my alarm goes off and I hear your voice. awwww! Come on guys...aren't there any nice, good, romantic guys that don't mind curvy girls?

Since I"m so chilled out, and a non-partier, maybe just a coffee or a game of pool over a beer? A movie? Or is that lame. walk on the beach? All that cheesy stuff just to break the ice.
