Many The Miles...

I just heard that Sara Barellis song “Many the Miles” for the first time recently and I really, really liked it. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard it before…

Music moves me. Sometimes a song and lyric can strike me in a way as to move me to tears. Or make me so happy I can’t stop smiling. That was one of those songs.

I can be pee-your-pants funny sometimes. That is if we share the same sense of humor. I’ve read a lot of profiles where the woman will say “make me laugh”. That’s cool – but how about we make each other laugh?

I do have 2 kids, son in 8th grade and daughter in 5th. They have activities that keep me busy at times. They live with me every other week. My top priority in life is to be a good dad to them.

That's said - You know who’s my hero? Capt. Jack Sparrow… that dude was cool!

Trustworthy, loyal, courteous, kind and all the other things from the boy scout motto - yet have a bit of a bad boy streak… hmm… at least that’s what I’ve been told ;-)

You know what I want to do? Well, I was at this wine bar a couple of weeks ago that had a salsa band playing. It was a great fun time. There were these couples salsa dancing and I thought to myself "Man, that is sexy - I want to learn to do that!"


I used to be a life guard in high school so I've had all kinds of water safety training. Also studied the MacGyver episodes so I'm very confident I could get us out of a jam if we were underwater in a car. I'm very heroic...

I'm on the run a lot both during the week and on the weekends - I have a friend playing music at a vineyard in Gaston coming up. Think I might go there for some wine tasting...




Ok - THIS cracked me up. I was looking at a profile on Match-dot-com and came to the "favorite hot spots" section.

This woman wrote "G" there...

Took me a moment to figure out what she meant.

First date? Probably meet for lunch or coffee.

You'll end up smiling, laughing... probably falling for me. It's inevitable.
