I work as a mime out on Queen St. West. It's pretty cool till someone asks me directions and I have to "break character."

The Real Deal: I'm a creative, driven girl who loves concerts, movies, live comedy. I love to laugh and especially enjoy making others crack up. I can be a bit quiet and introspective at times, but I can also be lively and passionate. I am a bit of a contradiction because I love having doors held open for me, and I love it when a guy is protective of me, but I also like to be challenged, and I'm extremely independent. I'm also very chill, and have a calm energy to me.

Personality wise - I've been described as 'one of the guys' in that I am a bit of joker and I love playing sports. However, strangely enough I am quite 'proper' in how I speak. So, I suppose in some sense I'm looking for someone who will treat me like a lady.

I've recently put a band together and plan on playing some local Toronto spots soon. I'm pretty excited and nervous at the same time. Some of my favourite bands include: Deftones, U2, The Smiths, Nirvana, The Strokes, Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Metric, Tears for Fears, Joy Division, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, The Shins, The Stills, The Stones. The list could go on forever.

Favourite TV shows: Flight of the Conchords, Summer Heights High, The Office, 30 Rock, Dexter, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, Family Guy.

I've never played Guitar Hero, but I just got Sing Star for PS2. Hmm...maybe this should go in the 'first date section'?

I'm interested in: genuine, attractive, intelligent, and funny people. If you're athletic, that's a major plus:) I'm pretty tall, so I kind of have a soft spot for guys that are taller than me, but shorter guys are welcome too. I'm cool with younger guys too - just not TOO young. lol

*Side Note:* I'm not really into bearded guys. Nothing personal! Just a preference. I had a scary neighbour growing up who had a big beard. He has since tarnished my perception of facial fur. (although, I guess if we really got along, I could look past it). Just an FYI though...
