Hi! I’m new to Vegas, moved a couple months ago for my job. I’ve heard a lot about this site, so I decided to check it out and see what Vegas has to offer outside of the Strip. I’ve never done the internet thing before but I must say I really…really like reading the profiles. I find it interesting and sometimes entertaining. So I’d like to express myself as well, with a few thoughts and questions.


Did you know that in Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name? For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen. The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.


I’d like to pose a few questions as well….If you have an answer please let me know…If the professor on Gilligan's Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can't he fix a hole in a boat?

How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

Why is 'bra' singular and 'panties' plural?

Seriously though…….We tell ourselves our lives will be better when we get married, when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we have a nicer care, bigger house, when we take a vacation, when we finally retire.

The truth is there is no better time to be happy than right now! If not, then when? Your life will always be full of challenges. It is better to admit as much and decide to be happy in spite of it all!
