I'm newly seperated, blindsided actually and not sure what's next (18 years together, married for 13 of them). I'm kind hearted, and i have lots of interests. I'm a very passionate person. Still hurting from the seperation. Is there anyone out there that can relate to this kind of hurt. Does the hurt ever go away?

Well I think its time to add to my profile, I wrote the above just after the seperation, today I am doing very well. The hurt does go away, however there is times when the floods of emotion do return, like when certain memories are triggered or people that you run into that don't know that you are seperated. I'm a full time Mom and enjoy it very much. My Daughter and Son are very important to me. I am not looking to replace their father, as he is very much in their lives, and he is a very good Dad to them. Being on this site, I have grown lots as it is very therapudic to talk about things to strangers that become good friends. I have met some great guys and have talked to some great guys that I have never met but gave me incouragement and little notes and messages that do help you restore ones self esteem. I am finally able to move on to dating and it feels pretty good/however scary at times to meet someone for the very first time. Hopefully I will meet the one and I have a second chance at love again. To all the guys that sent me messages and notes and gifts, thank you. I know I did not email alot of you back and some I actually went back, after a new friend of mine told me he hates girls not writing back. SO I did write back to messages that were still there, even thou weeks had passed. I work 3 jobs and so it takes me time to get back to some messages. Be patient. Usually if your persistent, I'll answer you first LOL. I still don't know how to use this site properly ,and there has been several times recently ,where someone would IM and I can't connect due to computer problems. Well hopefully I won't have anymore problems as I just got the computer back from getting fixed. Again thanks to all the guys who showed they cared, it helped more than you know.
