Hey, I'm Christina and I am a true Vancouverite. I love camping, exploring, city life, country life, a day at the beach, a day on a mountain, whatever as long as it's new and exciting. My love for travel has brought me here, to the city of Daqing in Northern China where I am currently working as an English Teacher. It's the worlds best job and there is not a day when I wake up with the "gotta-go-to-work blues." I have made some great friends and not so great strides with the Mandarin language but it's slowly coming and I hope to be fluent when my time is up here.

I try to laugh a lot, at a lot of things, even things that may not seem particularly funny to others, such as my own jokes...but hey, the important thing is that I know how to keep myself entertained right?

I believe in: Karma, music, some form of God, family, my best friend, traveling to stay sane, finishing everything my grandma serves me, having a playlist on my ipod for every situation, wearing clothes that feel comfortable even if they don't match, carrying a lifetime supply of EVERYTHING in my purse, and NOT carrying your stuff in my purse.

Take the "R" or "V" train to Steinway Street. Stay on back of train. Walk west on 34th Avenue, three blocks to 36th Street. Turn left on 36th Street. The entrance to Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens is mid-block (between 34th & 35th Avenues).

The best dates haven't really been dates. Actually, even the word "date" just puts so much unnecessary stress on the event. That's why in elementary school my teacher used to call our spelling tests "spelling banana's." Anyways, if I told you what I would like to do on a banana, that would kind of kill the unpredictability which would kill the fun which would kill us both. Well...maybe not kill us...but you get what I mean.
