Hello, My name is Larry. Thank you for taking your time to read my profile. This will be my third attempt a trying to write some thing on here that may attract that special woman. From reading many of your profiles, I see I'm not alone in this situation trying to write some thing alluring but I'm gong to do my best so here I go.

To begin with I'm not sure how to state what I'm looking for as far as the whole friends, dating or long term thing goes. Eventually I'm looking for long term but first hanging out, then friends, then dating seems to have to happen first. I would be interested in hearing what others think about this question.

I've been single now for almost two years. I think I've left the past behind as much as I want to. I'm looking forward to meeting someone who is also looking forward to the future as opposed to looking back.

I like being active and stay in shape as much as I can. I do tend to play harder than most people my age. That's why I buy the super sized bottles of Ibuprofen now.
One of my favorite activities is cooking. It would be great to find someone who also likes cooking.

Going to the cabin on Thunder Lake and boating, fishing, four wheeling, playing yard games, having a bonfire or hanging out at the sand bar is my idea of a perfect summer weekend. I'm not that big of a fan of winter time activities. It's a good time for working hard or taking a trip to a warm destination.

The dog in the pictures is Maverick. I just got him this past summer. He's turning out to be quite the ham. We go for lots of walks in the woods.

The business I've been in has been home improvement. I'm still very active in the business, just working from home for now.

Over the past couple years I've found out that I do like dancing. Usually to country or rock. It usually takes me a couple of drinks before I feel like I'm comfortable doing it though.

If you do want to get to know me better, please be patient, I can sometimes be slow to return messages. I guess I'm just not that big a fan of email. I much prefer to talk on the phone instead.

It would have to be something that made you comfortable. Maybe something we talked about on the phone. I might suggest meeting for drinks. If that went well we could talk about dinner. If we're still on track maybe a nice walk some were.
