JL: “Hello everyone, and welcome to another installment of POF Spotlight! I’m your host, Johnny Lonelyhearts. Today, our guest is a gentleman residing in beautiful St. Francisville, MrPractical. MrPractical, welcome to the program!"

MrP: “Thanks Johnny, it’s great to be here.”

JL: “We see your stats, photos, and your interests above, but our audience would like to know more about the man behind the photos. Tell us more about yourself.”

MrP: “Well, I am a straightforward, fun-loving, practical, uncomplicated, and friendly gentleman who is very comfortable in his own skin. Those who know me well will tell you that with me, what you see is what you get. I believe in saying what you mean and meaning what you say. I can be deliberate and calculating at times, spontaneous at others. Frankly, I’m not someone who usually follows the herd. I am a very independent thinker who often thinks out of the box and has a somewhat unconventional way of looking at everyday life. It should also be noted that I’m not at all into pop culture, I much prefer to talk about current events and exchange ideas ranging from psychology to investing.”

JL: “Let’s talk a bit about your tastes. What types of music do you like?”

MrP: “I enjoy listening to rock, jazz, and blues. I’ve taken a real liking to zydeco since I moved to Louisiana 5 years ago, though I must admit that I’m not yet familiar with many of the better known artists. Lately I’ve been listening mostly to 80’s music, it tends to bring back memories of my youth."

JL: “What about movies?”

MrP: “I’ll enjoy any well-written and acted movie, but I tend to enjoy dramas, suspense, action, documentaries, and docudramas the most. I also really like good comedies… I can sooo relate to Office Space."

JL: “TV?”

MrP: “Although I like the History Channel and National Geographic Channel, I don’t watch much TV at all with the exception of a football game or the occasional movie.”

JL: “Do you have any goals or aspirations?”

MrP: “I am now committed to getting into better shape. I’m also in the process of writing a children’s book. Otherwise, I’m always looking to improve myself overall as a person. Nobody’s perfect, but I feel that it shouldn’t stop us from trying.”

JL: "If you could be any food, what would you be?"

MrP: "Excuse me?"

JL: "If you could be any food, what would you be?"

MrP(with confused look on his face): "Is this a serious question?"

JL(now looking a bit annoyed): "Just answer the question please."

MrP: "OK...I would be a lobster."

JL: "Why?"

MrP: "Well, considering that I'm already a fish here on POF, I may as well be a premium catch."

JL: "You ARE aware that lobsters are actually crustaceans, right?

MrP: "So what? It's still seafood."

JL: "Yes, but..."

MrP: "Johnny, would you mind speeding up this interview a bit? All this talk about lobsters is making me hungry!"

JL: “OK, let’s turn our focus on what you’re looking for on POF. Who are you hoping to find here?”

MrP: “I’m hoping to find a nice, easy-going, honest, and sincere woman. She has a positive attitude, secure in herself, affectionate, and likes to have fun but also knows when to be serious. I’m extremely impressed with a woman who doesn’t always follow the herd mentality and can think out of the box. It would be a big plus if she were a cat lover, as I have a sweet and affectionate orange tabby.”

JL: “Anything else you’d like to add?”

MrP: “I don’t have any age preferences, I’m not hung up on an age range. What really matters to me is a woman’s personality, character, compatibility, and chemistry between us. Also, I have recently begun to hang around the POF forums and I am not shy about posting an opinion on a topic which piques my interest. Reading the stuff I post on the forums will give you an even better idea on my thoughts and what makes me tick.”

JL: "One last question, MrPractical. What would you do for a first date?"

MrP: "I want to keep it simple at first, chatting over coffee or drinks. If the chemistry is right, I'd really like to go to a museum, historical site, or art gallery and play the rest by ear."

JL: "Thank you for your time MrPractical. Best of luck to you."

MrP: "Thanks for having me Johnny, it's been a pleasure. Would you mind telling me where's the closest seafood restaurant?"
