I'm a pediatric RN, and love what I do. I have two wonderful children, who are on their own now. My life is very busy, full, and I'm happy with this. Most of the time. There are times when I miss that special someone that I can share all my innermost thoughts, joys, fears, opinions. I don't believe that humans were meant to exist as solitary creatures.
So, I'm looking for a friend, perhaps a friendship that will grow into a romance. Oh yes, I am a full blown romantic. Bring me wildflowers that you picked by the side of the road and I'll turn to mush..lol But I do believe in beings friends first. Without the pressure of it being a date, and am I saying the right things, and wondering is this the one. Better to just enjoy the moment, each others' company without the stigma. And if something develops out of that, allowing it. But not forcing it.
Too many people think that the only reason to be on a site like this is to find the love of their life....instantly. Good things take time. Like a good red sauce...it needs to simmer a while before it's ready to be enjoyed.
