Well, the first thing you should know about me is that I’m pretty easy-going and have a very sarcastic sense of humor. I would much rather look back and laugh at the irony of a situation than let it upset me. The past is the past, laugh at it, learn from it and move on! I think humor is something that's extremely important in a relationship. That doesn’t mean we need to be telling each other jokes all day long (I’m actually pretty horrible at telling jokes) but we should find the same kinds of things funny. It’s probably pretty hard to tell if one's sense of humor is compatible by reading a profile page, but if you think The Office, Family Guy or old John Candy movies (come on they're classics!) are funny, well, we’ll probably get along just fine.

Although I try not to take life too seriously I also make sure I don’t take it for granted either. Life’s not a dress rehearsal, I intend on making every second count. Rather than saying I take life seriously, I would say I’m passionate about life. It’s all about experiences, whether it’s just trying something new for the first time or pushing yourself to some limit that you never thought you could. You have to step out of your comfort zone every now and then.

Being healthy is also an important part of my life. I enjoy doing things that keep me challenged and active. Whether it's running, biking, weight lifting, swimming, rock climbing, etc I try to get some type of workout in six days a week. While I don’t think having the exact same interests is necessarily that important I think sharing a similar lifestyle is.

As far as first dates go I'm a fan of something simple and casual with a predefined start and end time. It doesn't take any longer than 30 minutes to know if you want to see someone again, so why drag it out? I guess it's actually more like a pre-date, if things go well the first "real" date can follow.
