First, PLEASE BE LOCAL to the Tampa Bay Area. I'm a very young 59. I'm a sensitive, affectionate person. If you like someone who's a "touchy, feely" type of person, you've come to the right place. But don't get the wrong idea, I'm a business professional and can be very serious and realistic as well. I have lived a very interesting life and accomplished a lot, both personally and professionally. I've got an interesting sense of humor and sly wit (when provoked to use them, LOL!). I enjoy getting out and doing things (concerts, movies, dinners, etc.) but also like to just kick back and "veg out" in front of the tube occasionally. Very musically inclined...play drums, percussion and guitar...just don't ask me to sing, LOL! I also enjoy sports and played college basketball. I enjoy golf but don't claim to be very good at it, LOL! Don't worry, I only watch sports on TV when it's the Bucs or an occasional Rays game. I truly look and act MUCH younger than my chronological age. I'm looking for a relationship that can develop into something committed and permanent. You just never know how (or how quickly) a relationship will develop. As far as spirituality is concerned, my faith is very important to me and I try to live by my Christian principles. I praise God every day for the blessings he has brought into my life. Don't worry, I won't hit you over the head with my Bible, LOL! Qualities that my ideal "friend" should possess? Someone who is very much like me (see above) as well as a true interest in sports, music and the arts, patience, compassion for others, a great sense of humor and an open and outgoing personality. More importantly, I am searching for that special woman who is not afraid to share her innermost emotions. In other words, I don't want to know about something you did today. I want to know about how you felt about something you did today. It's only when two people share those deepest emotions that a true love will connect. Please be a glass half full type. As bad as things can get at times, life is way too short to live in a funk. If you have questions, just ask. I will always be completely honest with you. Have learned the hard way about withholding info, half truths, etc. and would rather put everything "out there" than deal with repercussions later. All of this being said, I am a relationship type person and looking for "long term." While I realize that you need to be able to "hang out," be "friends," and "date," if that is all you are looking for and not open minded about developing a meaningful relationship, then we probably shouldn't waste each other's time. I'm a "one woman man" and not a "serial dater"...always have been, always will be. If you think we might match up well, give me a shout. You never know where things might lead!

I'm open to just about anything, except possibly jumping out of an airplane. Yes, someone actually suggested that and I responded that the relationship might end very abruptly, LOL! An unrushed meeting over coffee or a glass of wine somewhere that's quiet enough that we can share our stories. A beach picnic at sunset sounds good too!
