I'm not your knight in shining armor, and I'm not your Romeo. I'm not always going to know the right things to say and do to sweep you off your feet, I don't speak any foreign languages to woo you with, I don't have a sexy accent, and I'm not rich, and I don't own a car.

I'm the one that's always going to be there when you need me, the one that is always going to be there to make you smile and laugh, will spend $20 in bus fare and travel over an hour just to see you for two, and the one that is always going to be able to show you they care.

I'm not perfect, nor will I ever claim to be or expect you to be. I'm not the loudest person and sometimes I can be a little quiet and I'm not going to be the one to always start crazy wild adventures. I will always have my moments where I have lots to say and the jokes and laughs coming from me never seem to stop and I'll find something random and goofy to do or say just to get a few more laughs and a smile out of someone.

I'm not a model and I don't expect you to be anything of the sort either. I take a lot of care in keeping and getting my body into shape as it’s something I value after being over-weight as a young kid so I’m far from arrogant and full of myself because I will always remember what the other side feels like.

I'm the kind of person who can look at you hung over in your sweats with your make up off or running and your hair a mess and still tell you I think you're beautiful.

I’m not the guy that’s going to hound you with lame pick up lines and get mad when you don’t reply to a message and call you names to make myself feel better, I'm not the guy that's going to try and suffocate you with attention and profess my love to you in a week, and I’m not the guy who's going to ignore you and make you wonder if I even care, and I'm not here just to get in anyone's pants because there's more to life and people than just sex. I'm here for the people I can get to know, the friends I can add to my life, the stories I can tell and the memories I will never forget.

I am who I am now, and I'm nothing that people want to make me. This is me.

Something fun and relaxed....just no movies.

Go somewhere and do something were we can actually talk and get to know each other. Grab a drink at a bar or pub, play some pool, aimlessly wander around the city and try to get lost and then hit a concert after of some small band that we've likely never even heard of before and see if we like or hate them after, go to a park after, grab an ice cream or a slice of pizza... i'm not that picky, and you have to admit, all of that together, or most of it would make an awesome date.
