This is a long read so be prepared for a dose of uninhibited truth, and complete honesty! Before we get to my profile,I would like to say something. I'm under the impression that people are for their own reasons, and we genuinely want to make a connection with others that fit in with what we're looking for that’s cool. Most of the profiles I've seen all say things like "I want a guy/girl who is honest, and fun to be with, loyal, smart, and funny", et cetera(etc)we all want these things in a potential love interest...and that’s cool, but it's misleading if you’re not willing to at least get to know some1 that has these qualities because they don't have a" six-pack" nor fit into some misguided propaganda filled misconception of what beauty really is. I know that saying you want some1 good-looking & fit/aesthetically appealing, rich, or whatever in a profile may make the person seem shallow, 1dementional,or misguided, but at least when someone genuine/real looks at your profile they'll know what to expect & U will get more respect from being honest & up front. I can understand the lack of depth, and naivety in younger women/men cause they haven’t really had a chance to learn the simple truths of life we don't even know that we don't know until we hit our 30's/40's, but a lot of the women I contact are in my age group (27-35) and should know better from experience, and past (failed) relationships that not all the best men/women have the best exteriors. The "perfect" man/woman only exists in romance novels, or soap operas. So if you want to find that strong, healthy, happy relationship, and stop repeating the same failures, then be real to yourself, and be the kind of person that DESERVES to be with a great guy/girl, because you finally realized that he/you don't need to have a"6-pack"to be happy! That being said...here we go...lol! WOW! You've made it this far, I’m sure I lose a lot of readers by now & I'm ok with that, cause they’re not my type anyways if they can’t read 2 paragraphs...lol...and that’s very cool cause the first half of this is a screen. Where to start...I'm a 6'2" 260lbs Italian/Puerto-Rican man. I'm the oldest of 6, 3sisters & 2 brothers. I like my occupation (if not my job...lol).I like doing things other than nightclubs & bars, although, I do enjoy going for some drinks and dancing sometimes. Movies, comedy clubs, malls, the zoo, theme parks, concerts, chess, poker, football, basketball. I enjoy Sci-Fi, Fantasy Sci-Fi{(D&D, reading, RPG's)although I'm not geeky or nerdy[most of the time :)]lol}.I would also like to do things that I haven't done.ie Whatever my date/girlfriend/lady likes to do, learn and grow with(and from)each other, cause I think that it's not only commonalities that solidify a relationship, but the differences that diversity provides for people to grow more well rounded with/from/for each other. I would really like to see Stonehenge one day with that special woman. My friends tell me I'm a hopeless romantic(I don't think it's hopeless). I love to read a good book under a weeping willow tree on a mild Sept. afternoon. I love to lay flat on my back with a pillow in the green grass of my front yard on a clear summer night and stargaze. I love when I awaken to the songs of birds on a sunny new beginning morning...to let me know I'm alive and have 1 more day to smell the wild flowers that grow so close to my bedroom windows. I'm a simple man finding my way through the jungle of the "real world" that seems to be a little tougher than expected...but not as bad as it could be. I'm basically going through life like everyone else, maintaining a basic stable infrastructure of: Happiness, freedom, love, family, and friendship. That being said...I would like to meet someone "REAL"! A WOMAN that is smart, funny, secure (physically { looks don't matter to me, but the way you feel about yourself does} & emotionally), honest, loyal (like me). Must enjoy having a good time. Be able to take compliments. Someone that enjoys a "spur of the moment" movie on a wed. afternoon, or a nice walk on a mildly chilly sept. evening. Mainly that special someone to share the blankets with on a cold January night, or the towels with on a hot June "beachday". Having physical & emotional connections(making love, not just having sex...well most of the time...lol ;)).Sharing our thoughts/worries/desires/consternations. Mainly to get swept off my feet while sweeping her off hers...that’s love...no games, no bullshit, pure, easy, fun, gratifying, connecting love...that’s what I want. Sounds simple enough...right?
