I have to admit I wouldn't mind finding someone to spend some time getting to know and hang out with.

I like museums, bars, shows, CSI/Law & Order marathons, cupcakes, underground hip-hop, Lila Downs, wandering through Target (it's a bonding experience, damn it), books, readings, coffee, dancing, dining, and a little, just A LITTLE romancing (I'm not big on grand gestures, they never come off as sincere, I feel, though I must admit, I am a cuddler).

Lets be friends. I'm in a new city and I'm finally giving myself the chance to do and be all the "Some day I"m gonna's" that seem to be the curse of most... That coupled with just the basic logistics of moving across the country and getting settled, steady employment, and dealing with the daily culture clashes means that I really can't hand myself over to a relationship just yet...with THAT odd and curious statement said (it is, after all, a dating site) I am more then open to making friends and will deal with lovely people as they come across the pages of my life (meaning I'm not closed off to dating, but I can't promise you wifey status anytime soon). Besides, I truly believe that the best relationships have badass friendship foundations. So coffee? Open mic? A drink at the local lezzie bar? Damn, girl, a walk in Central Park will tickle me pink, b/c I LITERALLY have not been there yet (I got the library covered though :D) Everything about this city is new and an adventure to me so there's no way I could be bored.
