Well, I don't have too much to say about myself. I'm a down-to-earth sort a guy, but I'm also friendly and warm to everybody. I can be sarcastic and funny, but it is never to the detriment of other people. I always laugh with people, not at them. I appear shy at first when dealing with people I am unfamiliar with, but once I get to know everyone, I loosen up a fair bit. When that happens, look out! Its all fair game at that point. I like to think of myself as a truly well-rounded individual. I'm fairly open minded, and I've been described as one of the nicer people around. I always try to help others in need out.

As far as my likes, I like a lot of things, I guess. I've always have been an artist as far as drawing goes. I also really like going for long walks outside and stuff to that effect. I'm a firefighter/EMT-IV and I love what I do, and I couldn't see me working anywhere else except for the fire department and the ambulance service for the rest of my life. Despite of all the drawbacks, I still believe that at the end of my day, I can sleep soundly knowing that have helped at least one person throughout that day, even if it was giving them directions to the nearest tourist trap.

As far as the type of person I'd like to meet, that is a tad bit harder for me to describe. I mean, it could be anybody. It would really depend. Life is not a fairytale book, so no one meeting (or person, including me) is perfect, so I'd have to get to know the person a little bit better before making any big plans. But hey, even if it doesn't work out, that just means I'll at least have one more friend to hang out with.

For a first date, I'd probably do the whole traditional lunch or dinner rendezvous (wow, that's a fancy word), that would allow for a pretty decent conversation so I could get a baseline of what that particular date is interested in and what she likes to do. After that, it could be anything. I can be fairly spontaneous and unpredictable, but even I kinda need something to work with. I know it might be funny to hear, but I don't take this stuff lightly. Of course, this is all subject to change because I'm not always a planner, so it could be just about anything in I/she decides on a spur of the moment. Just like life, you can't plan and predict everything; it gets boring after a while if everything was predetermined from the start.
