I am a laid back person that is very easy to get along with. I am well grounded and I'm in touch with reality. I like surprises, though I am rarely surprised. I am a great listener and problem solver. It is, after all, my job! My career is very important to me, but not to the point that it rules my life. I think I have a healthy balance between work and play. I believe that you should never stop striving to better yourself. I like to think that I learn something new every day(though I don't always like what I learn!). Fitness and sports play a big role in my life. At any given time I could be playing in hockey, soccer, football, kickball, or softball leagues. I enjoy going out to happy hour for drinks and good conversation after work and going to sporting events whenever possible (I'm a Capitals season ticket holder!). I'm very independent... I have high morals and I'm trustworthy (Hey...if the government can trust me, so can you!) I am easily entertained and amused and believe that the simple pleasures truely are the best.

I used to have a long list of things that I was looking for in a potential match, but I've realized through experience that is stupid. I want to be with someone that I enjoy spending time with and that makes me happy. The rest is superficial.
