It's always fun to describe yourself...you get up close and personal with those nagging quirks, or the wonderful attributes that perhaps not everyone gets to whitness. About me, I know this: I am a chameleon, a "walking contradiction" as my father says. Example? I am an environmentalist, yet love fast, beautiful cars. My ideal home would either be an urban, decked-out loft or an old, time-worn home in the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees and flowers. I have my breadth of moods...artistic, athletic, angelic, inquisitive, yet generally don't experience the typical female mood swings of anger, outrage, etc. As far as "moods" go, I am fairly relaxed and not easily roused. I can be dreadfully energetic though, especially when a dance floor is involved.

To get down to brass tacks, I have a wide variety of interests...from the arts to nature to health and mysticism, and everything in between. I work at a spa as an aesthetician, aromatherapist and formulator. I have many goals and ambitions in my chosen field of work. I am a self-proclaimed health food nut, enjoy long walks in the forest, love to dance and enjoy being social (yet love being alone too). Fun can be anything from curling up with a good book at midnight, to going out to dance. I am a born and raised country girl yet love the city too. I enjoy being in my own world and would love to share it with someone equally as alluring.

On a more intriguing note, I am mysterious and imaginative; usually have my head in the clouds at any given moment and prefer a darker aesthetic. I am in love with mysticism and fantasy, magic and legend, love anything Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Twilight, Narnia, etc. etc.

My musical tastes are somewhat broad yet specific. I love anything save for country and hip-hop, and especially have soft spots for anything electronic, new age, instrumental, ambient or classical. I'm a dj because i love the music, it makes me feel alive. Deep house and electro-house are my favourites :)

I'm a bit OCD when it comes to diction and the use of the english language. I also prefer odd numbers.

I drive a standard car, and prefer it that way. I have a latent race-car driver inside me.

Physical description? I dress in black (cloaked in darkness), have curly black hair, either dark eyes or crimson lips. I also ooze mystery, apparently.

Now for opinions. I find it incredibly disheartening how quickly our society is losing its morals and traditions. What happened to finding your soul mate and cherishing each other for ever after? What happened to a man who treated a woman like a lady, whispered in her ear that she's beautiful (not hot or sexy) and showed her his heart and his mind (not his biceps). Perhaps I'm an idealist, but I seek a love that is insatiable, incontainable, voluptuous and ethereal...a love that is all encompassing and with can't-live-without-you intensity. I will not stop until I find it. Does that seem like a lot to ask???

I feel I have a lot to offer and would make that special man the happiest man alive. Sounds cliche, but believe me, I'm capable.

first date...always a bit of nervousness and a lot of imagination and illusion.

I'm a sucker for romance, so my ideal date would be something along the lines of this:

pick me up either in your shiny black coupe or trusted horse, you wearing a suit (and perhaps cape), me wearing a little black dress or corset-ed gown. Picnic my moonlight and candle light, with the music of the forest and the sky. Dancing to a far off melody. Perhaps a play? Followed by talking and walking until dawn.

A bit far-fetched but can't blame a girl for dreaming... :)
