I'm independent, adventurous, upbeat and secure. I love the outdoors. I spend time there skiing, hiking, biking or kayaking. I've also done a fair bit of sailing in my time too, but these days I only have the kayak. I have travelled quite a bit but there is still a little more than half the planet left to see. I believe I will see it too, but for now my focus tends to be a little more home based. So, I am enjoying fixing up my place and gardens, and entertaining friends in my home. Will you be one of them?

I am a very honest and generally intelligent woman and I am seeking a man who also has courage and smarts. Exhibiting compassion, humour and a zest for life is also important in a friend/partner/man for me. Physically, I like a man who is tall and not a fitness freak. Really, the size of your biceps is hilarious only if you have actually measured them. That goes for other body parts too. If you're real and invested in your own life, I'm probably going to like you. What exactly will make that spark fly and ignite, I can't predict, but isn't it exciting waiting to find out?

MUSIC TASTES: I like everything. Yup, everything. Classical to country, blues to rap, rock and roll, Opera, pop and just about everything in between. Oh oh, a qualifier. Just about everything. I can't handle schmaltz and if I have to listen to Wayne Newton or Barry Manilow I barf or go crazy. Just so you know.

TELEVISION: Yup, I do watch it. American Idol & So You Think You Can Dance are my sports shows. Jon Stewart is a hero of mine. That's about it.

There's a lot of talk about BOXES and NINE DOTS on here. Let me tell you, anytime I've tried to fit into a box, I've had arms and legs sticking out all over the place, so I prefer we just never mention them. If you're the type to ask, 'what box?', all the better.

As for CUPS and GLASSES, half full or half empty, just drink already. What's full will become empty, what's empty will become full again. Things change, I trust that.

VIEWS FROM THE CATZAZZ: I prefer people who drink deeply of life. Friends with Benefits barely tastes the icing, misses the cake entirely and is oblivious to the ice cream.

I recently got a new camera. I'm needing excursious (and subjects) to take it out and practice on.

I love to walk outside (walking inside just isn't the same - duh). Fall days when storm systems are passing through make the air smell so good. I love leaning into the wind on the beach at this time of year. Of course grabbing a hot mugga something afterward is a treat too.
