Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

gota love that poem have changed what i am looking for haven't found any one on here interested in dateing only friends so i guess thats what we will look for instead,
loneness can get pretty bad when you dont have some one to have that intimacy we are all one here trying to find,some one to hold and love not to be an island, but to have a feeling of belonginging to another soul.


well we are now only friends who are talking so that last girlfriend didnt work out due to things beyond our control, so friends dateing then a RELATIONSHIP yep thats the best order of things i think some ones gota enjoy the outdoors and grillin out. parks and hikeing, traveling perhaps that state park onthe beach.

that would be up to both of us to decide ! am partial to state parks and going out and doing things then sittin around
