I love to have fun, but also work very hard and try to remember the lessons my parents instilled in me- earn every dime I am paid, lies always hurt everyone, love is free, but must be given to be had, stuff is nice to have, but that's all it is and we can't take it with us when we leave here.

I never want to grow up, want to always remember what it's like to wonder about the
softness of a baby chick, the love of a puppy, how high a kite can fly, how fast a go kart can go, how cold is that mountain stream.....

I don't need to be on the go every minute of everyday. I enjoy physical activities, but also have learned how to be still and listen to life and my soul.

What happened to the days when we sat for a bit and just talked? I still value getting to know someone slowly, taking walks, holding hands, learning to love, feeling passion, telling stories from our hearts.

I am not the girl on the cover of the magazines, I have lived thru my own private wars, and have the scars of those battles, but I value every lesson learned, through joy or pain. I don't hate my ex's, don't have anything bad to say about them. I have known love and believe I will know it again, am willing to wait and be patient to have that.

I am complete in myself, peaceful and happy with my life as it is. A companion to grow old with would be a gift to me, and he would know that everyday of the rest of our lives...
