Hi There, first off thanks for taking the time and interest to look this far. To describe myself could fill a book so, I'll try to keep it short and just enough to keep you wondering and wanting to find out more. I'm a retired chef of 24 years and now am in the medical field nursing and I love it! I also am a EMT and volunteer at the Redding Drag Strip and do a little racing when i get the chance.I love being outdoors and all the activities the outdoors have to offer weather at home or out on the road. I carve custom leather portraits and pictures, cook, play hard and love living and doing life every day. Im 5'5" brown hair, with bright blue eyes. I'm in great shape but not athletic. My friends will tell you that I'm a great guy who cares for others and is a very sensitive but man kinda guy. He's an awesome nurse and EMT you outta see him when he works, gets totaly into his job. He is a dance freak and dances until the music stops. He's a trustworthy guy you can count on and a total sweet heart when it comes to helping people.
I love to sing karaoke and do it as often as I can. I don't need to drink to have a great time, or sing. There is nothing better than sitting in my boat with a fishing pole in my hand to relax, even if I don't catch anything!
I also love teaching people how to cook in outdoor Dutch ovens and cook anything you can dream of over a glowing campfire, including cheesecake and other baked foods like pies, and bread. I am strictly a one woman man. I'm not into drug users or heavy drinkers. I'm finishing my Bachelors in Nursing to advance my knowledge and opportunities in the medical field, I have 2 years to go!
Theres nothing like holding onto that special woman in my life on the couch watching a movie, in front of the campfire, or anywhere we might be. Since I love cooking outdoors, Dinner would be made and cooked outside somewhere, weather in a park, tailgate at a concert, race, or other event. I love being on the water when the weather is nice and would like to take a cruise if your comfortable doing so. I love dancing and if you dance as much as i do we would dance the night away. I like doing so many things I don't mind changing my plans because a date should be fun even if we end up just friends. Movies don't make good first dates even though i like seeing a show every once in a while. I'd rather go to a concert, or street market. If you have children a first date may be with them in tow also since we would be just getting to know each other and a baby sitter isn't always available, although not the best scenario. I love walks on the beach at night with a full moon. a first date might be on the mountain skiing, downhill, or cross country. I like doing things we both like and where we could have some quieter time together to. It's not just up to me but you to. I went on a first date one time that lasted all night with the woman and her kids and we all had a blast! We ended up swimming, going out in the boat, and sitting on the beach of a local lake next to the bon fire. But on a first date, I want to get to know you, no matter what we end up doing. Isn't that what a first date is all about?
