Holy heck, are you actually reading this profile?

I guess you want to know more about me. I'm a Westerner from... out West. Yeap, fresh from Alberta and here to stay. This means I almost know no one (aside from a few co-workers). I'm interested to meet people in the local area as well as Ottawa or North Bay, since I make frequent trips there. If a relationship develops, cool beans. If not, meh.

Personally, I think I'm loyal, dependable, easy-going and affectionate to the right people (took me a while to figure that out... the boss doesn't like bedroom eyes). Despite my writing style, I am shy until I'm comfortable around you. I finished school last year and I am fully employed, no spouse, no ex-wife, no children. I can be oblivious to some problems, but I refuse to play mind games. I have my life in order and I'm ready to find that special someone to settle down with, although it doesn't have to be right away. Oh, and I have a love of life, but it needs a jump-start once in a while.

Who am I looking for? Someone with a drive for life and is willing to drag me along with them. I do like women/ladies/girls who are older than me, but the age gap has to be reasonable. My 'ideal' mate is someone who is affectionate, responsible, educated, and most importantly, female :p The greatest feeling in the world for my is to be with one who loves me for who I am, enough to be able to read me unhindered. Something like that fancy talk about two hearts as one.

I'd be up for something interesting, from going for beavertails in downtown Ottawa, to playing Rockband , to finding a small shop for hot chocolate/coffee/tea. Another option is to goof around in a kitchen, trying to make something we both know won't turn out well, not that it matters ^^ A run in Gatineau Park is also tempting. Lately I've been interested in trying a survival camping trip or white water rafting.
