I am a divorced 41 year old father of a five year old girl and a two year old boy who's fairly attractive in a regular guy kind of way, I suppose. I'm a pretty shy guy when I first meet someone but as I become more comfortable with this person I become quite the chatter box. I'm an old fashioned kind of guy who has a pretty traditional sense of morality but lord knows I am no stick in the mud. I like to think that I'm open, honest, loyal and a good listener. I have an immense amount of respect for women and can't understand anyone who doesn't.

My taste in music is pretty eclectic. I enjoy listening to just about any genre of music.

I'm a regular guy so I, of course, like guy movies but I have been known to secretly enjoy a "chick" flick or two. I prefer older films, mainly those released before 1960.

I try to exercise when I can but being the single father of a kindergärtner and a two year old who's constantly trying to get into something that can possibly kill him I have precious little time for exercise.

I am a huge fan of Christmas and anything having to do with the blessed time of the year. I have dozens upon dozens of Christmas films and over a thousand Christmas songs. I load my iPod with Christmas music early in October. Christmas was magical for me as a child and I strive to make just as special for my own children.

I'm not into the bar scene and never have been. Like I said earlier in this profile I am a bit shy and being around a bunch of drunks is not my idea of a great time. I have been known to go to a karaoke bar but it's a rarity if I ever get up to perform and with the way I sing I think that that's probably a good thing. I also really enjoy going to the comedy club.

If you're into bad boys then I'm not for you but if you're looking for a good guy who'll treat you with respect whom you can have a real conversation with then you just might enjoy my company.

I'm too old to be playing games and dealing with a lot of childish drama at this stage of my life. I hope to hear from you but if not I hope you achieve every happiness in this world that you desire.

I think that the two of us should decide on something that would be mutually enjoyable. A first date should be about getting to know someone and that has to be done in a quiet and peaceful setting.
