I'm best described by my friends as colorful, vibrant, and independent. I know this because a family friend wrote it. I am a goofy red head with the fun crazy personality of one. I try to enjoy life and am grateful for my wonderful family and friends who feel the same. I am Texas born and proud of it, but like to travel within and outside the great country of Texas (that's a joke) to see varied cultures and ways of life. I have recently started scuba diving and love it! I love my Mavs and going to other sporting events. I spend most of my free time hanging with those I love and volunteering; it is an amazing and fun thing to do! I am in awe of the innocence and genuine happiness of children, which is why I love to surround myself with them through work, play-dates with my friends who have kids, and it is one of many reasons I have volunteered with Special Olympics (there are athletes of all ages that can teach so much)and run the volunteer services network for my school (which, unfortunately, keeps me away from Special Olympics:-( ). I miss going camping, hiking, and floating the rivers. I moved back from the hill country to the Dallas area to teach and be near family (of the blood and the heart)and have found the quest for friendship and the possibility of more a daunting task.

I wish to meet a friend, partner, and companion who is honest, interesting, respectful, and who thinks beyond themselves. I seek to meet those who value the gift of life and live it to the best that they can. I like to enjoy other people's company and hope to find someone who feels the same. I am looking for someone who values spending time with family, friends, and doing things for others.
