I'm not very good at talking about myself. Unprompted anyways. And I'm thinking this site might not be right for me anyway. I'm thinking maybe I'm just not quite right for internet dating in general. I just don't think my qualities will really show themselves in a few snapshots and a couple hundred words about me. I mean, hey, I think I'm a great catch, but it's not obvious at first.
Anyways, I suppose I might as well throw this out there, I love movies. Read a great deal. Have always loved the outdoors, the woods especially. I'm also quite a... I don't want to say chef, since that would imply schooling in culinary arts, which I haven't, but "cook" sounds so pedestrian. But I suppose that's the more accurate term. Oh well. I'm quite a good cook. I try to come up with a new dish every few months, which I'll work on for a while until I feel it's as good as I'm gonna get it.

I like to keep the first date pretty low key. A friendly meet and greet to feel out for chemistry. I think there's no need to buy all the fireworks, if there's no spark.
