Describe yourself in this little box. Really? Has it come to this? Is my entire life and personality doomed to fit in 120 characters (or more)? I guess so.

I am in many ways a goofball. I like to joke whether it’s about you, me, or anyone. In that, I don’t take myself too seriously. That’s not saying I’m constantly all over the place wearing a red nose and squirting people with a seltzer bottle, but I enjoy a good fun time.

Other than that I like to go on long drives with no real direction in mind, and enjoy the outdoors. I'm pretty fond of swimming, and I recently got back into rock climbing and rappelling with friends that have been doing it for years. We’re starting up a group to go to the rock gym fairly regularly this winter so that when spring hits we’re all good to hit some local crags. It's a fun sport, if just a little intimidating at first.

So, I’ve got my life and I’m happy, I have a good career, and I’m pretty damn stable all around. I just want something more. It’s not that I need to be in a relationship to be happy, but I’d prefer to be. It’s so much more fulfilling I think when you have someone you can hang out with or talk to at any time, someone who can tell me when I’m being an idiot… wait, yeah I’ve got that one covered with friends. You get the picture.

As far as my personality and relationships, well I don’t play games. If I want to see someone, I’ll ask them out; want to talk, I’ll call them. I don’t feel a need to roll some bones and check a lunar cycle to find out when the optimal time to call is. All I’d really ask is the same of anyone I’m seeing. There’s no need for BS, right?

I also know absolutely that I’ll never cheat on, lie to, or intentionally hurt someone I’m seeing. It’s just not what I’m about. What I am though, is loyal, dependable, and somewhat cheeky. I may need some time to learn your personality, but I guarantee I’ll make you laugh. I’m independent, and secure in who I am. I won’t need to be calling every 5 minutes for status updates of where you are or what you’re doing. In that, I’m a very big believer in the concept of your time, my time, and our time.

I'd like to find someone that is happy going out from time to time, or even just staying in and watching something on the TV. Kinda clich? I know. I mean doesn’t everyone on here like going out or staying in?

Something light to eat, and maybe a couple of drinks. Then if we're meshing well, a walk. Anything that gives time to talk.
