I'm a petite, high energy type of gal who is looking to make some new friends. You can never have too many of those, right? Let's see where life's highways lead. It's all about the journey!
I'm a bit of a gym rat and work out about 5 times a week. I like movies both at the theater and to watch at home. Popcorn is good too! I enjoy the outdoors especially on warm sunny days. Since I grew up in Illinois, the ocean holds a great fascination for me. I wish I lived close enough to visit it every day.
As a preschool special ed teacher, I love kids and am a bit of a "big kid" myself, at least compared to them as I'm still only 5'2"! Their curiosity to learn new things and ability to live and love in the present moment is inspirational to me. Ah to be more childlike without all the worries of adult life! Don't sweat the small things!
I also love animals and have 3 dogs and 2 cats! I am trying to down-size but I guess my compassionate nature is getting in the way. They love unconditionally a trait which is hard to emulate!
The last thing I want to mention is a am seeking something that a few of my "religious" friends seem to have. What I see is inner light, peace, conviction, faith, hope and trust in God.
