After careful deliberation here is a snapshot of who I am and what is important to me.
I am 6 ft 195 lbs,Athletic,bicycle in the summer,ski in the winter,I believe it is important to be active and in shape. I also go to the gym 3-4 times a week.I cook dinner regularly,drink wine,(love to go to wine tastings!)I easily make friends and consider myself empathetic to others.I have been told I have a great sense of humor.I don't watch TV as a rule....pretty much just sporting events every now and then(hey I'm a guy!).I read instead....WOW....what a novel idea!!!Try not to spend much time on the computer....(Except writing this profile....)I can go on vacation to a place for 2-3 weeks every summer where I don't talk on a telephone,or get on a computer for the entire 2-3 week.And I don't miss it...but People are more important than all the gadgets in the world.
I enjoy going to nice restaurants but also really like cooking at my house with a bottle of wine and intelligent conversation.

I do beleive in dressing well.I have been in the business world for many years,have been relatively successful and therefore learned early on that "You never get a Second Chance to make a First Impression..

I read quite a bit.WSJ in the morning.The economist.love that magazine!!gives you a snapshot of the world...The NYT online...numerous books (usually 1-2 books a week mostly nonfiction) Most recent books read have been: Snowball: Infidel(Ayaan Hirsi Ali),In Search of Food, The Fattening of America, Gross National Happiness,The World is Flat.I respect intelligence a great deal!!!

I am a great listener.I can handle things on my own and have travelled internationally on a number of occasions by myself as well as with groups.

I am a very calm and patient person to travel with.I have been to a number of countries and been in quite a few very interesting situations....don't get flustered easily......I also love to go out West skiing or to Florida to the beach...I love going to Miami as I feel like I am in another country because I am speaking Spanish about 95% of the time....
I love the person that I have become and am comfortable being who I am.I beleive that those who have been through trauma in their life are stronger for it and many times it makes them more than they ever thought they would be.I love the saying "If you want to know a person don't listen to what someone says always watch what they do".
I have lived outside this country and appreciate it all the more after looking from the outside in.I have studied 4 languages.I know how it is to be the outsider in another land...I have an open mind but I am not a fool.I like the saying "Don't be so open minded that your brain falls out".

I was not raised very religious but made a decision on my own to follow the path that I do.I do not force my point of view on anyone.It is what I beleive and it is personal.
I am confident but not overly so.I don't understand people who try to control others.I think it is about insecurity...

I have been told by some they can't beleive my patience...I've been described by people I've met as genuine,nice,warm down to earth and refreshing .I have also been told that I "get it"...

I don't need someone in my life but I would appreciate someone in my life.Someone that doesn't want to change me but allows me to be me.Because I allow people I am with to be who they are.one of my favorite sayings is: "Don't Marry someone you can live with.....Marry someone you can't live without".I have always thought about that when it comes to getting married.
I believe in respect,honesty,and integrity.Looking for a best friend and lover and
someone you can laugh with and feel comfortable with.My dream is to experience more of the world with the person I can't live without.
