I'm a retired fire officer (served 33+ years) and am enjoying every miniute of it.

I had a GREAT career with a lot of satisfaction but decided it was time to just move on to retirement because of the numerous injuries I had over those 33 years that still nag me sometimes. It was also time to let the youngsters take over. My son followed in my footsteps and became a firefighter and I must say it was a proud day for me when he recieved his badge. It's really fantastic to see one of your children follow the same path with such a satisfying and rewarding career.

My interests are wide and varied but my top choices would be music, dancing, live theater, symphony, art, watching and/or going to hockey games (yes a pure wing nut)and anything historical. These are just a few of my favorite things.

I also have a passion for classic cars and have owned many over the years and still go to a lot of shows.

I consider myself a gentleman and have lived by a code my entire adult life, that code is duty, honor, courage, integrity, and sacrifice. these traits were taught to me from a very young age. I'm not into playing head games. I do consider myself very easy going and a gentleman. I don't have any baggage either (baggage is only for traveling)although I do have my imperfections, as I feel we all do. I'm very content with who and what I am.

I also love the warm weather and do spend time in Florida enjoying the beaches and also have a daughter that lives there.

I have 3 children ages 40,38 and 32 (2 girls, 1 boy) and 3 grandchildren (2 boys, 1 girl).My grandchilden are 19 and 16 and my newest grandson is 15 months now and another on the way in May. This has just brought even more joy into my life.

Looking for that ray of sunshine that makes this world just a little bit brighter.
