Trying to cram 50 years into a few words and a picture is not so easy. Here goes...
I like nature hikes, not wilderness treks really, just being out in the open air and sunshine. I enjoy the trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway and even our local Medoc "Mountain" State Park. I enjoy strolling the shops and waterfronts of quaint towns like Manteo, Beaufort, New Bern, and Edenton.
I like most music, old and new, except that head-bangin' music and garbage called rap. I am an Adam Lambert fan. What a voice that guy has! And Paul Potts and Lucie Jones from Britain, Ray Charles, Nora Jones, and Eric Clapton. It is amazing to hear what comes from a person's soul in the form of music. Some all-time favorite movies are The Green Mile, Castaway, Crash, and The Godfather. I admit to watching UFC on Spike TV. It's a guy thing.
I am open-minded on spiritual matters, curious, but not much for organized religion. If you are, that's fine, just don't expect me to be collecting perfect-attendance Sunday School pins.
I have a career that I enjoy. It satisfies the meticulous, puzzle-solving, side of me. I am soft-hearted, energetic, humorous, health-conscious, and happy almost all the time.
